MSA or Multiple System Atrophy is a neurodegenerative disorder which is characterized by the symptoms of failure of autonomic nervous system like fainting, problems related to bladder, which is combined with the motor control symptoms like loss of muscle coordination, rigidity, etc. The Multiple System Atrophy Cause is still unknown; many researches are still going on to find it.
MSA Symptoms includes, Parkinsonism- like rigid muscles, slurred speech, balance & coordination problem, abnormal eye movement, swallowing problem, etc. Sometimes Patients may become dizzy or faint at the time of sitting or standing up while some may experience tremor problem.
The Multiple System Atrophy diagnosis, can be challenging as there is no test which can confirm about the occurrence of MSA disease in the living patient. It is pathologically possible to make diagnosis of MSA.
